survival of NGOs and fundraising activity.

There are a number of factor affecting any new initiative. whether it is a commercial project or non governmental project, both facing a number of challenges. Dhankeshri devi foundation starting with a clear vision in mind. out motto is to do something that directly improve the life of weaker section of society. at this early phase of NGO Dhankeshri devi foundation, how far we will go in future has no idea.

Lets discuss various issues one by one.
1. Team Building
Team building is the highest challenging task for any new project. if you finalize the best team of energetic and dynamic people then you can assume that half of the work has been done. the successfulness of projects depends on team building. at present stage in dhankeshri devi foundation, we have a good team of people. the teamsize is small but vision of all team member is same and clear. we are ready to perform.

2. identification of most needy people for pilot project. this is also a very difficult task. most of the indian NGOs targeted highly rural area. top most best NGOs of india running their pilot project at that rural placed. NGOs having a large volunteer base are easily run such pilot projects. the successful implementation of such kind of projects needs a number of resources. huge capital and a bigger size of team required. top most NGOs in india have all resources to perform such activity. in reality such pilot projects are biased. they never approached any unseen rural village. most of top NGOs in india select projects in such a way so that they get funding easily by promoting their idea. here at Dhankeshri devi foundation we start out first pilot project at our semi rural village. we know each and every fact of near by family. we can easily identifies the needy people. our expert team working on this area. how to identifies the actual needy people from our district Rohatas, Bihar. our priority is to get reconized by society first. we want to gain faith of our near by people. once we run our pilot project on Education and livelihood successfully then we move to other state. we believe at the old proverb "charity must begins from home". we are fighting with a number of top most NGOs in India, top most NGOs in Bihar, best NGOs of india, but we have faith on our team members hard work.

The rest three most important point will be covered in next post. be in touch with us for regular updates.

i have some secret plan for the fundraising. fundraising is the most valuable things for survival of any NGOs. so will not disclose our strategy here. but what other NGOs doing for this will be discussed in details.

What UNICEF thinks about the skill development in children's.

Skills needed for success in school, life and work

As per UNICEF website:

  1. Foundational skills: Foundational skills, namely literacy and numeracy, are essential for further learning, productive employment and civic engagement.
  2. Digital skills: Digital skills and knowledge support the development of digitally literate children, enabling them to use and understand technology, search for and manage information, create and share content, collaborate, communicate, build knowledge, and solve problems safely, critically and ethically.
  3. Transferable skills: Also called “life skills,” “twenty-first-century skills,” “soft skills,” or “socio-emotional skills,” these allow young people to become agile learners and global citizens equipped to navigate personal, social, academic and economic challenges. Transferable skills also help crisis-affected young people cope with trauma and build resilience. They include problem-solving, negotiation, managing emotions, empathy and communication.
  4. Job-specific skills: Also known as “technical" and "vocational" skills, these are associated with occupations – such as carpentry, accounting or engineering – and support the transition of older adolescents into the workforce.

the first two skill development programs running by Dhankeshri Devi Foundation. the foundation skill like primary education to all with gender-ism. the second one is digital skill, under digital scheme we offered  computer classes to student who have passed the class 12th at least. basically digital marketing classes are provided by us which is free of cost. after completing the module, a student is capable to do lots of online works.
