Rohtasgarh quila is a pride of people of Bihar. its a historical monument of unique kind of mountain quila. the quila is famous for lord Shiva linga. it is very beautiful place at the top of kaimur mountain. there are a number of mountain village near by quila. generally people visit this quila in the month of sawan, the month of lord shiva to offer jal on ancient shiv linga. there is a very famous story about the quila, as per ancient views the whole quila was built in a single day. its was a miracle. so its very famous. in the month of sawan the whole mountain covered with the greenary. there mountain river also passing near by the quila. one can feel the sound of river by sitting at the top of quila or boundary of quila. the milky white water(nirmal jal) of mountain river look like very pleasent from the quila top. the sound of water is very melodeous. there is churasan sidhi(84 stairs) by which we can go to the shiv temple to offer jal. over all its worthful visit in sawan.
now the news published in todays( 13.06.2020) news paper about the destorying the quila wall is very sad for mountain quila lovers. inspite of tough life of villagers now the quila has at least basic facility like proper drinking water, rest room, electricity and good pakka sadak. mountain lovers may also visit the quila throug kachha route of mountain. i love this mountain kachha route of quila. through this kachha route after facing a lots of challenges when you reached at quila campus then the cool water of mountian well gives you a pleasent touch. due to mountain area it will take half day to complete the whole quila and shiv temple.
